Tish Ballagh - Field Research Technician - Ag, Canterbury

Tish was born in Windwhistle, Canterbury to a well known farming and sporting family. Being the eldest of five children she was expected to help out on the farm from an early age. With her husband and youngest son, they run an agricultural contracting business specializing in all types of seeding from their base at Windwhistle. Tish is a keen gardener and looks after the 2ha gardens around their homestead. This along with the contracting work, which requires a good knowledge of agronomy practices is very beneficial to her work with Zelam.

Tish has been working as a field technician for 10 years and enjoys the challenges and variety of field work. Before the research role John and Tish did all the distribution for Zelam in the South Island.

Married to John, mother of Jeremy, Nick and Sam. Guardian of Bentley the horse, two cats, three dogs and various sundry animals and machinery! Golf, the love of old aircraft and horse riding have her meet and generate many friendships throughout the area.
